Golf
For those who love to play golf or who wish to learn how to play the game, Placer County alone offers 30 different golf courses. There are two 18-hole championship courses located within Del Webb's Sun City Lincoln Hills Community. They were designed by Billy Casper/Greg Nash, and create two distinct 18-hole layouts with traditional out-and-back configurations. The Lincoln Hills Golf Club is privately owned and is not part of the Association amenities. Through the years, the Lincoln Hills Golf Club has successfully hosted competitive events such as the 2003 LPGA Tour's Longs Drug Challenge, the 2008 NCAA Ladies West Regional Golf Tournament, as well as hundreds of other local charity and corporate events.
